Philadelphia CyberKnife Shares Men’s Health Awareness Tips

June is dedicated to raising awareness and prevention of the preventable health problems men face while encouraging men to seek regular medical advice and early treatment for disease or injury.

One of the common health threats to men is prostate cancer. In 2012, the American Cancer Society estimates about 241,740 new diagnoses of prostate cancer. As the second most common cancer in American men, prostate cancer can be a serious disease. However, most men diagnosed with prostate cancer don’t die from it thanks to advances in cancer care, technology, and treatment protocols based on scientific research of the disease.
