Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Stephen Arrigo MD graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology from the University of Rochester in 1979 and then attended New York University School of Medicine. After graduating from medical school in 1983 with AOA honors, Dr. Arrigo completed two residencies at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania: Internal Medicine, 1986 and Radiation Oncology, 1989. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Temple School of Medicine.

Dr. Arrigo has published on Adult Wilm’s Tumors and prostate cancer stereotactic radiosurgery outcomes. His clinical interests include:IMRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, prostate low dose rate permanent seed implants, prostate high dose rate seed implants, prostate radiosurgery, intraoperative fiducial marker placement, post prostatectomy PSA recurrence treatment, Radium 223 administration for bone metastases, and surface brachytherapy for skin cancer. Dr. Arrigo remains one of the most experienced practioners in the region for prostate implants. He has been named a “Top Doc ” on multiple occasions by Main Line Magazine. He has been and currently is a principal investigator of several national clinical trials.
